Tzippori: Mishna, Mosaics and Archeology

Cephorus the ancient Roman city, was the Capital of the Galilee during the Second Temple period. It was the big major city near Nazareth during the time of Jesus, and a center of commerce and creativity. Amazing mosaics and structures were found here in the modern era that tell the story of a major Jewish community after the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem.
